About Bummed

About Bummed

Bummed is a direct-to-consumer telehealth platform that treats anorectal conditions like hemorrhoids and anal fissures, founded in 2025 by Rebecca Monahan and Jenny Dwork in partnership with colorectal surgeon Dr. Carmen Fong. Bummed connects patients with licensed physicians and delivers custom compounded topical treatments, prescription-strength formulations typically available only through a specialist, directly to their door. Built to destigmatize conditions patients are often too embarrassed to discuss with a doctor, Bummed pairs discreet virtual care with pharmacy fulfillment, giving people a private, judgment-free path to relief without an in-person visit.
